Monday 14th March

Wow choir this year is off to a fantastic start! We have a very enthusiastic bunch of children who are keen and ready to learn. Today we will have all the words to Brave and Space Oddity learned off by heart so we can focus entirely on the melodies. Next week we will have our third song started!

Backing tracks have been uploaded.

Happy singing! :)

Tuesday 16th Feburary

We had a great first practise yesterday! Our tribute to Bowie is coming along well, but we need to work hard to make sure we:

1. Learn all our words
3. And listen to the melody using the clip below.

The backing track for you to practise singing along to has been uploaded under "current song backing tracks" on the left..

Space Oddity

Happy practising!

Sunday 7th February 2016

It is that time again - CHOIR AUDITIONS for 2016!!

I can't wait to start working with the 2016 choir! If you got in last year you don't need to worry about auditioning again. If you are year 5 (minimum age) and keen to audition, they will start Tuesday 9th Feb, lunchtime in Room 25.
What do you need to do? It's simple really.
Prepare a verse or a chorus of your favourite song. Alternatively, suggest a song for me(Mrs E-C) to put up on the smartboard as kareoke.

Good luck! If Onka Judge can do it, anyone can!

There's only one judge....

Wednesday 4th November

I was reminded today of this video of Susan Boyle.  Singing is emotional and  can have an enormous impact when the lyrics reflect the true reality of the singer. Enjoy! Also see below Adeles new song - that is a LOT of youtube hits already!
